Abstract

The light and video installation was shown at the Electro Magnetic Festival 2012 at the world heritage site Völklinger Hütte in Völklingen/Saarland. The installation was planned and realized by zkk_Zentrum für kabelgebundene kunst. LED flex light of around 2km length was used, alongside 10 video projectors and various LED pars.

The illumination was not only used for decoration but also to guide the visitors around the festival site. Visitors could follow the floor lights build into the old train rails which guided them through the festival site passing the various stages and ultimately pointing the way to the emergeny exits
