Abstract

This humorous installation is made out of two power plugs connected via a common electric wire. It was used as a theme for a photography series. The name zkkabel derived out of the name of the former art collective zkk – Zentrum für kabelgebundene Kunst (center of the wired arts). It was illegaly installed in various locations such as the University of Fine Arts Dresden, the Palais in Luxembourg and at documenta13 in Kassel.
