Abstract

A 45 min-long DJ/VJ mix in the genre of dubstep and bass-heavy music with voice samples from the NDR documentary Als die Killer auf den Kiez kamen from 2011 (here), about a series of murders in Hamburg's red light district in the 80s.

The footage in the video is mainly self-made abstract, minimalistic visuals mixed with graphics from 16bit video games like the SNES version of Super Street Fighter 2, Wrestling Angles, Contra Hard Corps and F-Zero. The VJ mix was made with Resolume Arena 4 and it’s included effects.
